There seems to be a gap between the &#039;1960&#039;s&#039; generation which predated the use of the word &#039;homophobic,&#039; and the present time. Throughout the ages, many civilizations including the Greeks, Romans and so on have made every effort to include those who are active homosexuals as part of the &#039;normal&#039; society but have, in the end, wholly rejected that notion. So much so, that we are now faced with the same dilemma.Many advance the argument of morality but that is fraught with danger as the issue of morality can be likened to: &quot;is your truth the same as mine?&quot;Back to the dilemma as to why previous civilizations abandoned their quest to &#039;normalize&#039; homosexuality. Could it be that they realized that such act produces deadly diseases? We ar told that it is. The question begs - why and how do we find the culprit?I suggest we look to the X - Y chromosome. Why? I have noted that immune system, jealous as it is to guard the body against intrussion is legendary. However, the same immune system allows the sperm to reside in a woman&#039;s body for 4 days or so and the fetus for nine months or so. Why?
