John M Carr CPA, a Private Customer – TW20f0F6YsujM – of Tel West Network Services, Austin, Texas, USA, is responsible for a number of hardcore porn companies and their websites linked to Server I.P. 198.211.217.131 These include the website hotkiwis.com and its New Zealand partner businesses “Girl4u”, “Girls4u”, “NZXonline”, “EroticaExpo” and “Vixen” administered by his business partner New Zealand hardcore pornographer Stephen (Steve) Peter Crow.

This US citizen, who is sole director of two NZ registered hardcore porn companies – CVC Group Ltd and Eden Digital Ltd [Update: the latter in liquidation as of 22/11/11], as well as many other NZ companies, can be traced on the internet under Server Address  Telwest  Private Customer – TW20f0F6YsujM Texas Austin United States 30.2958, -97.8101 . Linked to the IP address 198.211.217.131 is the domain name johnmcarr.com which curiously contains his ‘Curriculum Vitae’ – with its most recent entry dated 1 April 2006 recording his purchase of Brass Magazine NZ Ltd. However, over the five years since that date, his – no doubt prolific – business activities etc remain unnaccounted for! [The IP address for johnmcarr.com has now moved to 184.172.4.10 as at 22 April 2012]

Mr John M Carr’s personal website “Profile” claims: “He has a 200 acre farm in rural New Zealand, running to the ocean and 11 miles of white sand beaches [sic] and is being developed as an agri-forestry venture.”  However, the Overseas Investment Office has been unable to trace any evidence for such an acquisition by him or the companies he directs or has directed.

Mr John M Carr’s  tax/book-keeping consultancy domain names: bbs.co.nz and bbstax.com were until recently, also located at IP 198.211.217.131 Now they have moved to IP address 184.172.4.10 as at 22 April 2012.

Of interest to the Society are the number of domain names including Adult industry appellations such as: “NZXgirls.com”, “downunderescorts.com”, “hotkiwis.com” and “allaboutporn.com” that are also found at this same IP address 198.211.217.131 – domain names that are still owned by Mr John M Carr/Better Business Services, Inc. (John M Carr is principal and owner of BBS Inc). His on-line gun toting business – www.50calguns.com – owned by Carr Business Services, Inc is also located at this same IP address:

The domain name “pacificalpacas.com” is also registered with Godaddy.com by John Carr’s Better Business Services and is found at at IP 198.211.217.131 as well as an apparently  defunct charity bbscharities.org which provides tax free status to all charitable contributions from US donors (bbscharities.org has Domain ID: D107134495-LROR and Admin ID: CR36314243).

[Update: The domain  name pacificalpacas.com has now moved to IP address 184.172.4.10 as at 22/04/12, along with Mr Carr’s domain names bbs.co.nz bbstax.com and trampersfriend.co.nz. The latter is owned by his company PJ Digital Ltd].

A defunct US charity,  a 50 cal guns website, an alpaca fibre ‘export’ website and porn stars/escorts downunder websites may seem very strange and bizarre bed-fellows, but such is the broad vision of  this US-based investor. He has managed somehow to remain well under the radar while his hardcore porn business side-kick – now a banned company director – parades the ‘industry’ to the NZ public via “Boobs on Bikes” : pursuing personal titillation and profit (an advertised star of the forthcoming Boobs on Bikes/Erotica Lifestyles Expo is an import from John M Carr’s home city of San Antonio,  Texas). NZX Media: Banned company director promoting porn companies?

Very Bad News ! Media report today that New Zealand taxpayers will probably have to cover the projected $39 million loss resulting from poor sales of tickets for the Rugby World Cup venues (rumour has it that many have opted to attend a forthcoming “tacky” and “tastless” parade in Auckland, approved by the Auckland City Council,  instead of the rugby). On Friday 14 May 2010, company director Stephen (Steve) Peter Crow was served papers by the Ministry of Economic Developments (MED) banning him from directing, promoting or managing a company for four years, effective from 16 April 2010. Steve Crow – Porn King – set to exploit Rugby World Cup and NZ

‘Tasteless’ parade exploits women, Rugby World Cup and NZ, says city councillor.

Porn king Steve Crow is planning a “rugby special” Boobs on Bikes parade with girls body-painted in world cup team colours.
The Auckland Council confirmed that an application for a permit has been submitted, but has not yet been issued.
An online auction will be conducted next week for supporters to bid for the right to paint the girls, with proceeds going to charity.
But Auckland Councillor Cathy Casey said the proposal will make New Zealand look tacky.
“The Rugby World Cup is a wholesome family global sporting event, but what this is tasteless and tacky. It will make the Rugby World Cup tacky, it makes Auckland tacky and it will make New Zealand tacky in the face of a global event,” Ms Casey said.
“The parade is nothing but an exploitation of women, and this one in particular is an exploitation of the Rugby World Cup, which I am sure will be shut down when the International Rugby Board hears of it.”
The procession is planned for Saturday, September 24 – the day the All Blacks play France at Eden Park – through Ponsonby Rd, Karangahape Rd and Queen St in central Auckland.

Family First NZ calls for NZ Police to ban offensive porn parade

Family First NZ. a registered charity with the Charities Commission, is calling on the NZ Commissioner of Police to ban a scheduled Auckland City “Boobs on Bikes” parade that promotes the hardcore pornography businesses owned by CVC Group Ltd and its daughter company Eden Digital Ltd, both directed by John M Carr CPA, a “business partner” of banned company director Steve Crow.

Boobs on Bikes is a registered trade mark owned by CVC Group Ltd, a company that is 39% owned by Velocity Partners Ltd – owned and directed by John M Carr CPA; and 40% owned by HWGA Company Ltd which Steve Crow defines as a “family trust trustee company.” Steve Crow used to be its sole director until he was banned from directing companies for four years last year by the Registrar of Companies. Now his brother David Bruce Crow of Inglewood and his sister Leanne Marie Osborne of Ftitzroy, New Plymouth, who Steve Crow both appointed last year,  direct HWGA Company Ltd and each of these siblings hold one of the two shares in the company.

Weekend Porn Parade Targeting Rugby Families ‘Offside’ 

Family First NZ is writing to the Commissioner of Police to plead that the police prevent the proposed Boobs on Bikes parade happening in the centre of Auckland city on the same day that families converge on the area for the rugby world cup game against France.

“The police and the judiciary have taken a liberal but also inconsistent interpretation of what is deemed offensive and the politicians have failed to correct the anomaly,” says Bob McCoskrie, National Director of Family First NZ. “Now families who are in the Auckland city centre on a Saturday and rugby families in town for the world cup games are going to be confronted by a tacky porn parade.”

Section 125 of the Crimes Act clearly states that it is a crime to ‘wilfully (do) any indecent act in any place to which the public have or are permitted to have access, or within view of any such place’.

“When Family First challenged the Auckland police on their failure to prevent a mid-week parade in 2007, they told us that ‘in the opinion of the Police, given the standards of decency observed in this day and age, a female being topless in a parade on a weekday in (a main city street) will not in itself constitute an indecent act.’ But we are now dealing with a weekend parade which presents far greater potential for offence,” says Mr McCoskrie.

“Most New Zealanders know it is indecent and inappropriate to be topless in a public place – which is why there is no acceptance of the behaviour in schools, workplaces or public gatherings. In failing to stop the porn parade, they ignore not only the law, but the standards of decency held by the wider community.”

“We cannot stop the pornography industry promoting their behaviour to a targeted private audience despite its harmful effects on women, children, and families. But for those who stand for decency, and who seek to protect families and children, a parade down a major street in NZ on a weekend when young children and families will be there will cause widespread offence,” says Mr McCoskrie.

“The Boobs on Bikes parades are simply a commercial business advertising the porn industry. The fact that the hard-core porn industry can give ‘two-fingered waves’ to local councils and the police proves that the protection of children and families is not being given priority.”

Porn Parades Cost Taxpayer $20,000-plus

In its recent media Family First NZ, a registered charity with the Charities Commission, has pointed out that the recent Boobs on Bikes parades in Auckland, Hamilton and Auckland have cost ratepayer at least $20,000 in police costs and local council traffic management, and the costs should be recovered from the organisers. “Boobs on Bikes” is a registered trade mark of CVC Group Ltd, a NZ-registered company which owns the hardcore porn company Eden Digital Ltd, which runs the 3-day porn promotion – Erotica Lifestyles Expo.

“The Boobs on Bikes parade is not a community event, a Christmas parade, or even a social or political issue. It is a blatant marketing tool for the pornography industry, and as such, the police and local councils should be actively recovering the costs of hosting the parades,” says Bob McCoskrie, National Director of Family First NZ.

Official Information Act requests to the Auckland police show that in Auckland alone, 48 police staff were deployed using 10 vehicles at a cost to the taxpayer of more that $6,000.

“When you combine the Auckland cost with the costs of the police time in Tauranga and Hamilton, and then add on the local council costs, the taxpayer and ratepayer is effectively paying $20,000-plus for the porn industry to push their product on our main streets.”

“The police say they are not seeking to recover these costs, but they should be, on behalf of the tax and ratepayer. Why should families have to fork out for an offensive parade which local councils are powerless to prevent, and politicians are refusing to strengthen the laws to protect families from,” says Mr McCoskrie.
