Shareholders of Vixen Publications Ltd and Sidefx Ltd are yet to appoint a replacement for the banned director of both companies -Stephen (Steve) Peter Crow, Failure to do so could lead ri the companies being struck off the Register of Companies. The deadline set by the Ministry of Economic Development (MED) for this replacement to be registered on the Companies website was 12 August 2010. Both companies are owned by CVC Group Ltd which is directed by John Malcolm Carr who faced eight criminal charges under the Financial Reporting Act 1993, in the Auckland District Court on Thursday, brought against him by the MED.
His lawyer Mr Alan Bevan McKay, a partner in Checketts McKay Law of Cromwell, has informed the Court that his client intends to plead guilty to all charges on 31st August at his next Court fixture.
CVC Group Ltd is the porn ‘mother company’ that owns Eden Digital Ltd that runs Erotica Lifestyle Expos fronted by pornographer Steve Crow. CVC Group Ltd owns the Trade Mark “Boobs on Bikes” – the Logo for the street porn show that Steve Crow uses to promote Erotica Lifestyle Expos. Both hardcore porn companies are directed by Mr John Malcolm Carr who lists his residential address as 14/31 Green Lane East, Remuera, Auckland.
The major shareholder HWGA Co. Ltd, which holds 40% of the shares, is directed by Steve’s brother David Bruce Crow and his sister Leanne Marie Osborn who were appointed by Steve on 15 May 2010 – the day he resigned as director. Velocity Partners Ltd directed and owned by John M Carr holds 39% of the shares and Electronic Publishing Ltd also directed by John M Carr holds 9% of the shares. The remaining shares are owned by ex-CVC Group director Shirish Vagal and his wife (10%) and 2% owned by Steve’s sister Leanne and her husband Larry Charles Osborn.
