The newly updated and reformatted Companies Office website was officially opened at 8 a.m. Monday 28 June 2010. It reveals as at 3 July 2010 that for Truth Publications Ltd (In Liq) – “There are outstanding filing obligations in relation to this companys insolvency”. The company was put into liquidation on 21 October 2009 and the Liquidator’s initial report highlighted that $622,000 was estimated as owed to “unsecured creditors and subordinated lenders”. The Liquidator’s six monthly report due out on 21 May 2010 has yet to be filed.
The company directors are listed as Dermott Malley of Drury, South Auckland and John Pin of Greenhithe, Auckland. The Liquidator – Lloyd James Hayward – of liquidation specialists Meltzer, Mason, Heath, last filed a report on the company on 29 October 2009.
The majority shareholder in Truth Publications Ltd is Onyx Capital Ltd which owns 166,249 of the 400, ooo shares and is directed by Dermott and Linzi Malley. Of the remaining shares, MDL Solutions Ltd owns 153,749, Horton Media Ltd 79,999 shares and Matthew Horton, Dermott Malley and John Pin each own one share.
Onyx Capital Ltd has issued 900,000 shares. 50% are held by Linzi Malley and Ian Lowish and the remaing 50% are held by Dermott Malley and Ian Lowish. All three shareholders are registered using the same residential address in Drury, South Auckland.
