Carr Consulting P.A., John M. Carr CPA and his NZ Residential Addresses

Since 2006 Mr John M. Carr CPA, (see photo – http://www.carr.co.nz/images/jmc.jpg) who holds both US and NZ citizenship, has been recording his residential address on the NZ Companies Office website as 14/31 Greenlane Road, Remuera, Auckland. On 16 December 2009 he entered the same address, for the first time, as the registered office for “Carr Consulting P.A.” (Professional Association) – a Florida For Profit Corporation  of which he is both Principal and registered agent. It owns four NZ registered companies he directs (Velocity Partners Ltd, First Virtual Deposit & Nominee Co. Ltd, PJ Digital Ltd and Shelf Company No. 10 Ltd), as well as one that was struck off the register in 2005 (Cromwell 24 Hr Challenge Ltd).

Carr Consulting P.A. and two Auckland properties owned by Kinetiq Ltd

A lot of interest has been generated following the publication of the Society’s summary diagram on the US corporation Carr Consulting P.A. in our December Newsletter (see below). We’ve been asked for details on the two North Shore, Auckland properties owned by Kinetiq Ltd, directed by John Malcolm Carr and owned by Velocity Partners Ltd. John M Carr and the peripatetic, puzzling, pliable, P.A. shareholder

Late on Wednesday evening 16 December, company director John Malcolm  Carr  (see photo – http://www.carr.co.nz/images/jmc.jpg) changed the registered name of the listed shareholder of four New Zealand registered companies he directs, from “Cuchara Inc” to “Carr Consulting P.A.”  By doing so he confirmed the Society’s contention (see Dec. Newsletter) that he had been using an incorrect US-based corporation shareholder name for about nine years in his annual returns.  The Society is correct to have asserted that all the shares are in fact held by a professional association  (P.A.) authorised to render financial planning advice and related services in Florida through Better Business Services Inc, which Carr directs from his office in the US. BIG NEWS Report: Barnardos asks kids about smacking, and lies about the research”… Why? In order to promote their VoteYes Campaign?

Barnardos have been interviewing New Zealand children by phone to see what they think about getting smacked. The question they asked:

Do you think that adults who are taken to court for hitting a child should be let off if they say they were disciplining the child?”

……. The kids had to push 1 if they should be let off 2 if they think they should not be let off, 3 if they don’t know and 4 to hear the question again. Just over half said they should not be let off. Many probably didn’t understand what ” let off” meant- ……..Nor is it clear whether “adults” included strangers.

They interviewed stressed kids who called the What’s Up hotline, a hotline for kids to talk about anything they wish, including abuse. While the kid was waiting to speak to a real person, they were given an automated message with the above question. That’s a little like asking turkeys on the 15 December whether they are looking forward to Christmas. There was only a 10% valid response rate. [Read more…]
