John M Carr CPA, co-director with “Porn King” Steve Crow of New Zealand registered porn company Eden Digital Ltd and its NZ ‘mother company’ CVC Group Ltd, is currently serving as campaign treasurer for mayoral candidate Mildred Fernandez in her 2010 Orange County election campaign in Florida. He was also the campaign treasurer from Jan. 2007 to Feb. 2008 for Antonio (“Tony”) L. Ortiz, a distinguished former law enforcement officer, who narrowly won the election for Orange County’s Commissioner seat for District 2. The Society has filed a number of complaints with the Registrar of Companies concerning the New Zealand registered companies Mr John Malcolm Carr (see photo links below) “resident” of 14/31 Greenlane Road, Remuera, Auckland, NZ – directs. These include NZ companies wholly owned by Florida-based Carr Consulting P.A. of which Mr Carr is Principal and registered agent.

On Jan. 25th 2010 John M Carr CPA and Mildred Fernandez signed the Mayoralty campaign treasurer’s amended report summary (Q4) that was filed with the Florida Department of State, covering the period 10 Jan. 2009 to 31 Dec. 2009. It showed that the total monetary contributions received by Fernandez’s campaign over this period was $81,351.00 and the total monetary expenditure was $24,302.77. Itemised expenditure included a $400 accounting fee and $240 claim for software purchased for the campaign manager, both charged to Better Business Services Inc. [Bbs] – 1621 E Hillcrest St, Orlando FL 32803-000 – a corporation of which John M Carr is both Principal, director, registered agent and owner. This “Foreign for Profit” corporation (State Ref. PO3291; FEI/EIN No. 742288879) was incorporated by Mr John M Carr on 6 Sept. 1984 in Texas and is based at PO Box 780637 San Antonio TX 78278-0637.
The official “Principal Place of Business” for Better Business Services Inc. [Bbs] is at this Hillcrest St, FL, address and it is the same one used by Carr Consulting P.A., a “Domestic for Profit” Corporation which Mr Carr incorporated on 23 March 1992 in Florida and of which he is Principal and registered agent.Carr Consulting P.A. (State Ref. V24053 FEI/EIN No. 593113361)- which became a professional association in Florida on 15 Feb. 1999 and is authorised to render financial planning advice in the State of Florida, currently owns four New Zealand companies of which Mr John Malcolm Carr is sole director and they are:
1. Velocity Partners Ltd (which owns Kinetiq Ltd, the owner of two Auckland properties and Total Holdings Ltd).
2. PJ Digital Ltd (which owns Carrlandazz Holdings Ltd).
3. Shelf Company No 10 Ltd (which owns a $3 million property and “Pakiri Chill-out Retreat” Bed and Breakfast accomodation at Pakiri, Wellsford) and
4. First Virtual Deposit & Nominee Company Ltd.
(Note: It also owned Cromwell 24 Hr Challenge Ltd until it was struck off the Companies Register on 13 Sept. 2005).
Mr John M Carr CPA signed off his campaign treasurer’s report for successful County Commissioner for District 2, Antonio (“Tony”) L. Ortiz in Feb. 2008 and it showed monetary campaign contributions of $83,448.00 were received and the total expenditure as $43,852.40 over the period 30 Jan. 2007 to 22 Feb. 2008. Tony Ortiz’s residential address was recorded on official documents signed by Carr and Ortiz as that of his “accountant John M Carr” rather than using his own. As a member of the police force this is permitted under Florida law to offer police officers protection.
Mr John M Carr records his residential address on the NZ Companies Register as 14/31 Greenlane Road, Remuera, Auckland, for all the New Zealand registered companies he directs. Following formal complaints from the Society concerning his companies, registered with the NZ Companies Office National Enforcement Unit in July 2009, the Registrar and his officials have been unable to deliver mail to Mr John M Carr via any of his recorded addresses or make contact with him.
