Stephen (Steve) Peter Crow resigned as sole director of HWGA Company Ltd on 15 May 2010, the same day his brother David Bruce Crow of Inglewood and sister Leanne Marie Osborn of Fitzroy, New Plymouth, were appointed directors. Steve Crow resigned on the day after he was banned for four years from being a company director anywhere in Australasia and was by the Ministry of Economic Development which served the banning order on him on14 May 2010. On 15 June David Bruce Crow, the new co-director of HWGA Co. Ltd, registered 50% of its shares in his name (They were previously all registered in the name of Dermott Malley, CEO of Truth Publications Ltd (In Liq) which is reported to owe lenders and creditors $622,000 (see ref. 1). Checketts McKay Law, John M Carr, Steve Crow and Liquidated Porn
A hardcore porn company Z4K74D (In Liq) – formerly called Vixen Direct Ltd and directed by NZ “Porn King” Steve Crow owed unsecured creditors $262,528 and the IRD $163,550 when put into liquidation on 27 May 2009. It has been unable to pay unsecured creditor Checketts McKay Law of Cromwell (Alan Bevin McKay of 35 The Mall, Cromwell 9342) for legal sevices rendered. The law firm was listed by the Liquidators, Chartered Accountants Meltzer Mason Heath, as one of 50 odd unsecured creditors who would receive nothing from the failed porn company. Mr Alan McKay is currently the Attorney who acts for San Antonio Texas-based company director John M. Carr whose companies are the subject of ongoing investigations by the National Enforcement Unit (N.E.U.) of the NZ Companies Office. John Malcolm Carr (see photo links below) co-directs porn companies Eden Digital Ltd and CVC Group Ltd with Steve Crow. Among his many colourful business interests Crow owns 50% of the shares in 435 Devon Limited that owns the former troubled RSA Clubrooms in New Plymouth.

Porn King Steve Crow Double Crosses RSA Members over Erotica Lifestyles Expo venue – RSA stalwarts ‘turn in their graves’
Porn King Steve Crow was a guest speaker at the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce Business After 5 function at the New Plymouth RSA on Wednesday 26th August 2009. It appears that he failed to tell the whole truth when he told more than 100 people in attendance that the RSA Strandon Clubrooms at 435 Devon Street East, purchased by a company of which he is the major shareholder (50%) and was co-director of up until his resignation on 12 November 2008, would never be used for “anything at all to do with the sex industry”. However, since the 27th of August he has been advertising the “Te Ara Centre” (the new title he has given to the RSA Clubrooms), as the venue for his forthcoming three day Sleaze Porn Promo Show in November, which he markets as Erotica Lifestyles Expo via a website. His risible claims of honest transparency with RSA members and the business community were quoted in the Taranaki Daily News:
“Let’s firstly put a few rumours to bed, and then explain what our plans are for this beautiful site. What we are not doing is converting the place into a brothel, or a strip club, or an adult shop, or anything at all to do with the sex industry… And the Crows are also not taking all the money out of the project. Now that’s a real joke. The fact is we’ve already put a lot of money into this project, and we have committed a lot more.”
